Sharpen those Garden Tools

Why does gardening seem to take forever?

I have just spent two hours cutting a medium growth garden - edging first with hand shears, then mowed. Mowing easy - shears pointless, why? I read somewhere once that blunt Hand Tools meant that a simple job would take ages because more effort is needed in order to carry out the most simplest of jobs. Not to mention that a lot of personal accidents are caused as well. Although I have read that I decided to use blunt, slightly rusty hand shears today for the edging of my lawn. The sweat and frustration has just let me purchasing from my own website so next time the job gets done quicker. In our Gardening Tools section you will find these: 2pc Boat Shaped Sharpening Stone from Hilka. Very simple to use and they have sharpened my shears a treat - my only regret is that I did not sharpen them before. They cost £1.79 for the two and because they are made by Hilka they are going to last a long time. So, reduce your frustrations and make sure that you use well oiled and sharp Garden Tools.
Happy gardening!

Thank you again for your continual excellence when it comes to placing and delivering an order. It is always a pleasure to get things that work so well for a good price. The garden spray head I got from you works a treat and I have even used it to spray the dog this afternoon as the temperature hit 29 degrees. Thanks T&L - until next time. Regards Donald
