A new year just underway. All those resolutions have probably already gone by the wayside but has anyone noticed that prices, even in a recession, appear to have been increased?
Petrol in Kent is currently - £1.12 a litre!
Why, if we are supposed to be tightening the purse strings are some businesses, that make billions in profits each year, raising their prices? We all face difficult times in business at present but a raising of prices to sell to less people but make more profit seems practically unethical as only those with money can afford the increase.
I appreciate the economics of this situation but felt that it was worth mentioning that at www.toolsandleisure.co.uk we have not increased a single price so far - in fact next month our existing and some new product lines are going to be even cheaper than before. So why, why not hike prices and sell less for more so the market doesn't get flooded with products and demand drops?
Easy - every week a new or practical Hand Tool is redesigned, re packaged or restocked and the beauty of Hand Tools is that they are completely unique to different trades or individual jobs performed by DIY enthusiasts. Rest assured www.toolsandleisure.co.uk will not be increasing prices on established product lines over the next few months.
Happy shopping.
